The Master Genealogist is a VERY good program IMO.
It even has a demo version you can use to see if you like it.
http://www.whollygenes.com about center of the page it says "free trial", and
is a link to the trial version. The trial version is not crippled
except that you can only enter so many people into it.

The trial version of TMG only allows data entry for 30 days but during that
time it is not crippled in any way, including the number of people that can
be entered.

I stand corrected.

I stand corrected.

It took me quite a while before I was "sold" on getting TMG. It's a very

complex program if you so wish it to be, and when I first started
evaluating it, I wondered what all the hoopla was. I kept going back to
Rootsmagic and comparing the two, and Rootsmagic won out each time. The
speed and interface were just so much nicer I thought, but I kept trying
and slowly I began to see what TMG had to offer.
My point is, I had to go through several "trial" offers before I ended
up buying it, maybe if someone, slow like me, is interested then an
extended trial could be offered, say a further 60 days.
Just an idea.
