Status of PAF 6

Does anyone know the current status of PAF 6 ?

Any idea when it will be released and which languages it
will support ?

All I know is that the testers team was chosen about 3
years ago and was limited to LDS members, so I presume 3
years ago, they were deciding about what the new features.

Is anyone within this group aware of the availability of a file (GEDCOM
perhaps) covering the genealogy of Jesus.

I did manage to find in a Google search, the brief mention that a member
of the LDS had indeed done the work, but there was no supporting data,
or other thread to follow.

Do what I did and you'll have a lot of fun and learn a lot.

I did the genealogy of the Bible through Jesus and also connected the
line of Japheth through the Irish Kings and afterward. My intent was
to have my genealogy from Adam to my grandsons. As you might imagine
with all the myth and word of mouth of many centuries I am missing a
few links.

You can determine the year Adam was born, when all the old-timers
existed and even the time of the flood. After the flood there were
only 8 people alive. Doing the genealogy through Noah leaves me
wondering where the wives of Shem, Ham and Japheth came from.

FYI many churches have the Bible Genealogy in commercial chart form. I
don't know their source since I decided to do my own and I haven't
compared my data with the commercial versions.

All I've ever heard is stuff like, "PAF 6 is in preparation (I have
this from several 'open' sources."

Contradictory?

I had been informed that one of the Gospel writers' lists
(don't remember which without doing some searching) was for
Mary (being as she was Jesus' actual mortal biological
parent) while the other was for Joseph (being as society
would view Jesus as being Joseph's heir). That would imply
no contradiction, just two different branches of a tree.
