Does Legacy have a way to mark two children as twins?

I know PAF doesn't, and I was hoping Legacy did, but I don't see it.

Create your own "fact" of Twin, enter something ("Y"?) to mark it.

Create your own "fact" of Twin, enter something ("Y"?) to mark it.

Look in the Help under Child Status.

Well, yeah; in one program, I put it in the occupation slot, and in
another as tagged text in the Notes.

I just sort of thought it might be nice to see it near the birthdate to
save discussion about why there were two kids born in 1765 to the same
mother?

But, ummm, does it show up on any other screen or in printouts? If I'm
eyeballing a list of names, I'd sort of like the (Twin) to show up near
the birthdate to save effort.

Well, you don't need one - the others have given you a better answer
than mine!!

Screen displays are probably getting worse, not better. FTM have taken
burial (etc) details off their front page. Not so much a problem for
users, but a b**** nuisance for researchers, who often use death dates
to upgrade burial info, and vice versa.

Even Legacy sort-of hides twins. If I go to Legacy help and Find for
"twins", I get nothing. Same for Index (Sherry - nudge nudge). But
"twin" does find some odd references. The first tells you how to change
the global items (not much help in this case), custom GEDCOM tags = 0,
then the doozy "The default setting when a child is first added to the
list is None. To set a new status, highlight the child and then click
the Down Arrow on the Child Status drop-down list at the bottom center. "

I think there are settings on the Reports menu on what to include and exclude
from reports, but I haven't tried much of that.

Know what you mean, that's why I put it by the name, but you should be
able to add a "T" or "twin" by the date. Legacy seems to be pretty
flexible in that respect.

There are a couple other ways to get to it.

You can select Childrens settings under Edit or Childrens list under View.
