Dear Sir, I am not an expert with regard to researching on the
Internet. But I am trying to trace my
Norwegian roots. My great-grandmother came from Norway, about 1860-70,
to the United States.
She was KAREN HUSE. She was born 26 March 1848 in Hedmark, Norway. Her
father was Gilbert Hovey Huse. In
the USA, she had the name of Karen 'Carrie' Gilbertson (strange that it
was not Gilbertsdatter). That's about
all the data I have. Where can I look for her family. Thanks, Dan
