Opedal and Fryones i Ullensvang

Dear Mr. Scheel, As I understand it, in the Hardanger-fjord, there is a
sub-fjord called Srrfjorden. In this area, Ullensvang, the farms called
Opedal and Fryones are situated. Torbjorg Isaksdotter Opedal, user-number
25 in the farm Opedal was my g-g-g-grandmother. Lars Larson Froynes, who
originates from the farm Froynes, user-number 2, was my g-g-grandfather.
In 1865 they migrated with their children to the USA and settled in Iowa.
I have looked at your list of bygdebok and Ullensvang is included. On May
22, 2006, my wife and I will be going to Norway, first to Bergen, then to
Lofthus, and finally to Oslo. While at Lofthus, I would like to see the
farm from whence my ancestors came. Can you tell me if I will still find
in Ullensvang a farm named Opedal and another named Froynes? Tusen takk!
