Knut Lien

I am trying to locate where this family is from in Norway: Knut (Kunte) Lien, his wife Olena, and five of their children; Maynor, Rangvald, Sigurd, Clara, Jelmer, emigrated to USA in 1905. The names of the children are from the 1910 census - some of the names may have been changed. The family at that time was living in Wisconsin.

Knut born about 1867
Olena born about 1867
married about 1891 in Norway

Maynor born about 1893
Rangvald born about 1896
Sigurd born about 1899
Clara born about 1902
Jelmer born about 1904

These children were all born in Norway

The ship ´Tasso´ was a Wilson Line-ship that brought the emigrants from the norwegian western cities to Hull in England. From there they travelled by train to Liverpool (or sometimes Southhampton), and then a trans-Atlantic liner to Canada, New York or another east-coast US city.

I just discovered that my link showing the Lien family emigrating from Trondheim wasn't working, so I attach an image of same. From this one may read that their travel was paid for by someone i Amerika.
