Elias Vilhelm Johansen f. 1848 Hammerfest

I am trying to find what happened to a Elias Vilhelm Johansen born 1848 in Hammerfest. He was abandoned by the mother ,Anna Greta Salomonsdotter Hietala, at birth according to birth record. But shortly after his birth his father died in 1849. I then find him living with his mother and husband Johan Mikkal Larsen in Vadso in 1865 census. Then I see the family move to Vardo in the 1875 census. After that I cannot find Elias. I have checked the moving and death records but so far cannot find him. Can anyone find evidence of what happened to him?

The Record does not say that he was abandoned. It says that it was his mother who gave the information to the Vicar.

By the way, in census 1865 he is registered with patronymicon Johannessen,not Johansen.
