Leksa Farm

I am currently trying to track down some ancestors of mine from Leksa Farm in Agdenes I believe. Their names are Ingebord Johnsdtr. Born 1837 father Jon Andreasson Reithaug. She married a man named Anton Slavik b.? father:? I have information stating that they lived on a farm called Leksa and had 5 children. Can anyone help me with information regarding their whereabouts and any information on Anton and his children.

On the farm Slavig in Ørlandet, Sør-Trøndelag, there lived a family in 1865:
Anton Thomassen, 42 years old, farmer and fisherman.
His wife Ingeborg, 29 years old. (But her father was Ole, not John, according the census)
Children:
Ove 8 yrs
Ingeborg Anna 5 yrs
Elen 2 yrs

I believe Ingeborg from the 1865-census on Slavig farm is the Ingeborg born May 31, 1837, father: Ole Jonsen Reithaug and mother: Kirsti Olsdatter

I cannot say for sure that this is your family, but it seems worth further investigation. The family may have moved from Slavig (today Slavik) to Leksa after 1865?

Another child (Johan Arnt) was born Sept 11, 1869, still in Slavig

The oldest son, Ove Christian, born Nov 21, 1858, "konfirmert" Okt 11, 1874,

This record also tells that when Ove Christian was born the family lived on Terningen (a very small island, not very far from Slavig)

And Ingeborg Anna, born June 2, 1861, "konfirmert" 1876:

But in 1864, when Elen Margretha was born (Jan 1), the family had moved from Terningen to Slavig. Here is her "konfirmasjon"-record in 1879:

Hi Michael!
This is definately the right family. Ingeborg Olsdtr. was born in Rennebu 31.of May 1837, parents Ole Johnsen Reithaug (b. ab. 1804) and Kirsten Olsdtr. Soelie (b. ab. 1804) married 11. of June 1832 in Rennebu. They migrated to Terningen in Agdenes, and their daughter Ingeborg married Anthon Thomassen Leksen in 1856. Anthon was born 1. of May 1824 on North Leksa by parents Thomas Andreassen Lexen and Margaretha Johnsdatter.
Anthon was baptized in Ørland ch. 27. of June 1824.
The brother of Ingeborg, John, is the great, great grandfather of my son in law. I enclose a descendant list of Ole J. Reithaug. I would sure like to add your family to my DB as well if you want to.

Anthon and Ingeborgs youngest daugther, Beret Maria, born 1872, married August 29, 1908 Peder Johansen, Leksa farm.
