Fimreite gard

I am looking for the Fimreite farm in the Sogndal bygdebøker (Kaupanger sogn 1 and 2, Stedje sogn 1, 2 and 3) that I have at my local library, but don't see it.

Are there other books in which it might be included/

There is a little info about the farm in Sogndal bygdebok 1: Allmen bygdesoge, tida før 1800.
I just browsed a little, but didn't find information about the people living there.

There is a book that might be of interest to those with roots from Sogndal. It is called "Ei utvandrarsoge frå Sogndal" written by Rasmus Sunde. The book is about Christian Nilsson Flugum who left Sogndal with his parents and two brothers 1867 and settled near Lake Mills, Iowa. (It is a small book, about 55 pages.)

Jeg vet ikke om det er flere Fimreite-gårder, men stedet Fimreite er jo berømt p.g.a. det store slaget i 1184. Her er noen lenker jeg håper du kan ha nytte av.

We have the book at the Norwegian American Genealogical Center here in town and I see from the index that the farm is listed in the index 18 times.

Too bad that there is no family information, but this is a good start.
