Edvard Nielsen, born 1843, son of Paul Nielsen Tangeland

Hello!

I found the birth record for Edvard Nielsen, born 11 January 1843, son of Paul Nielsen Tangeland and Anna Maria Christensdatter in the church records for Eidsberg.

I am trying to find out what became of Edvard. I can't find the family in the 1865 census. I want to see if Edvard got married and if he died in Norway or left the country. I think he may have been in Scotland in 1871. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I would appreciate any help.

As you can see: Nils was the son of Paul Nilsen (died before 1801) and Anne Marie Kristensdatter born about 1750. Nils married march 02 1811 in Eidsberg with Marte Andersdatter born at 1794 in Eidsberg, he married second April 14 1829 with Anne Larsdatter born Dec 15 1801 at Glomsrud, Eidsberg. She died March 04 1884. She was the daughter of Lars Kristensen and Elen (Else?) Rasmusdatter. http://www.digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/We ... =1695#ovre

Edvard was the son of Nils Paulsen and Anne Larsdatter he was born January 04 1843 at Glomsrud, Eidsberg.

Nils Paulsen died 1855 at Vestre Glomsrud and there was a division of inheritance after him August 4, 1856

Thank you very much for your replies to my question. Yes, it does look like Edvard must
have died before 1955. I will have to look somewhere else!
