I am struggling with the way names change from parent to child. Would the father of Anders Olsen born in 1769 in Ejdanger be Ole xxxxx? And would the father of Karen Jonsdatter born in 1765 in Ejdanger be Jon xxxxx?

I have still had no luck with tracking Ole Knutsen's parents . All I know is that he was born in Slemdal in 1818 and married Maren Abrehamsdatter in 1839.

Would his father be Knutsen (or Knudsen too) or have the surname Knut (or Knud)?

Hope someone can help.

Hi. I am looking for the parents of Ole Knudsen. He was born in Slemdal in 1818 and married Maren Abrehamsdatter on 18 Aug 1839. His son was Isak Olsen born on 4 Aug 1849.
