Alsing Ole 17?? Norway ??

Hello To all readers,



I reside in England and am tracing my family history, of main interest to



me is the Male line.



I have traced it back in England to a point where I have my great great
grand father



Hans Jacob Alsing 1793 ----1864



Born in Copenhagen in 1793 but Married to and English lady in 1835.



From other documentary evidence I believe he and his father where in London
by



about 1801. I can find no reference to his mother or sister in England .



If I have it correctly his Father came from Drammem in Norway & married a



Danish lady in Copenhagen in 1790, they had two children there in 1793 &1794



In searching the records I have his father as :-



Peter ( Peder ) Arbo Alsing ------- Born 1762 ---------- Drammen Norway



The only records that fit this appear to give me his parents as :-



Ole Alsing ------- marring -------- Sebelle Arbo in Stromso
Buskerud in 1755



With a birth record of a son Peter Arbo Alsing 05.12.1761



When I try to trace -- Ole Alsing --- I can find no Definitive links ??



I need Help from someone in Norway with a good knowledge of your system?



Who Can Point me in the right direction or take on my search for payment.

According to the mormons "Family search", Ole Alsing was born in Larvik
(Laurvig); Vestfold, Norway in 1716.

The so called "Skifteregister" for Larvik on "Digitalarkivet" has some
valuable information:

The 16th of July 1786 there is a partition of an inheritance in Larvik. The
diseased was one Else Olsdatter, Larvik,
Two of the heirs were her son Ole Alsing, merchant in Drammen, and her
diseased first husband Jens Alsing.

Going back to May the 5th 1723, in Larvik, one Niels Hansen is dead.
Among the heirs are his stepdaughter Else Olsdatter Schierven, living in
Holmestrand, Vestfold, and her husband Jens Rasmussen Alsing.
It is mentioned that Else Olsdatter was the daughter of Ole Larsen Schierven
and Inger Christensdatter Schurman.

I think there is a very probable that Jens Rasmussen Alsing and Else
Olsdatter Schierven are the parents of your Ole Alsing in Drammen.

One of them is Ole Lauritzen Shierven (or Scherven)
