Jeg trenger informasjon/oppslag om en slekting som reiste til Canada for å jobbe i 1929.
Jeg har ca måned, årstall for avreise, samt årstall for foto han sente hjem men vet ikke når han reiste hjem men tror det var 1932 eller 1933, senhøst før jul.

Regarding Peder Ingvald Løtoft, I can help clear up a few things for you. As you point out, he arrived from Norway (likely) in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Obviously to depart from Southampton, he would have had to make his way from Newcastle to Southampton, likely by train.

So he arrives in Québec City (at the Port of Québec), in the Province of Québec. From there, he would have cleared Canadian customs and travelled by the Canadian National Railway (CNR) to the city of Winnipeg, in the Province of Manitoba. A trip that would have taken several days. He lands in Winnipeg because it states on the passenger list that he is a 'Landed Immigrant'. Winnipeg at that time is where all immigrants in Western Canada were processed by Canadian government agents who help immigrants find work.

The fact that he was recorded as a 'landed immigrant' means that he sought to immigrate to Canada, and as you already to note, to farm. The Canadian Prairie Provinces had many immigrants to travelled to them in order to farm as either the worker on or owner of a farm. It is possible that Peder sought and proved a homestead close to either the city of Melfort or Regina (the provincial capital).

It is quite likely that he might have met a woman, married and had children, in either Melfort or Regina. However, as in Norway, Canadian birth records tend to be closed to the public for long periods of time, in fact, usually 100 years. A search for birth records for the Province of Saskatchewan can be done, but you must contact the Saskatchewan ministry of vital statistics which can do a search for you. A relation however can be granted an exception and given access to a birth record, but one needs to find from the search noted above if there were any children.

The 1931 Census of Canada could be of help and should record Peder in it. However, all census are close for a period of 92.5 years after they have been take, so it shall be several years before the 1931 Census of Canada is opened to the public (the 1921 Census was just opened to the public a year or two ago).

Canada recorded all people entring and leaving the country, but did not in the year he left Canada to return to Norway.

I have sent a request to see if I can get anything in the 1931 cencus or if he had a child.

I have not yet found out where he lived, I hope i will find out more if they hopefully find some hints of his years "over there".
