De giftet seg i Lesja 17 april 1873 og utvandret i mai 1873 til Minnesota. De bosatte seg etterhvert i Nelson, Watonwan, Minnesota og fikk 11 barn i tidsrommet 1873 til 1898.

Leslie Tande, 88, of Madelia, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Luther Memorial Home, Madelia.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Madelia, with burial in Rosendale Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia and one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Carolyn of Medford, Gerald and Arla, and Paul, all of Madelia; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Edgar Urevig of Lewisville, and Muriel Walsh of Madelia.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude in July 1996.
He was born Aug. 1, 1913, in Madelia, to Anton and Minnie (Bakke) Tande. He graduated from Madelia High School in 1932. He married Gertrude Hennis on May 28, 1939, in Madelia. They farmed in rural Madelia. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of Rosendale Lutheran Church, Rosendale Township. He served on the church council at both churches. He was active with the American Dairy Association including the Holstein Association and the Dairy Herd Improvement Association.

Marie Amelia Hartung was born September 22, 1917 to Clarence and Hattie (Studer) Hartung in Austin, Minnesota. She moved with her family to a farm near Welcome and later was a graduate of Welcome High School. Marie did housework for various families in the area and helped out on the family farm. On February 16, 1939, she was united in marriage to Elroy A. Titus at Welcome, Minnesota. After their marriage they farmed in Martin County until 1959, moving to Butterfield area to farm. In 1966 Marie was employed as a seamstress at Vandar??s Bridal Shop in Fairmont. In 1968, they moved to Sherburn. In 1972, they opened Marie??s Budget Bridal Shop and operated it until May of 1990. Elroy died on April 17, 1994. She later moved to Madelia to be closer to her daughter and family. In April of 2006, she has been a resident of the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Marie was a member of St. Paul??s United Church of Christ in Welcome, Minnesota.

Marie passed away on Tuesday morning, February 26, 2008, at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia, Minnesota, at the age of 90.

Celebrating her life are her children, Arla Tande and her husband, Gerald, of rural Madelia, Minnesota and Marlene Walters of St. James, Minnesota; grandchildren, Kurt Tande of New Orleans, Louisiana, Wendy Tande of Atlanta, Georgia, Karen Olson and her husband, Paul, of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, Tracy Hurley and husband, Craig, of St. James, Minnesota; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Cole, Benjamin and Jaden Olson; sister, Hazel Reeder and husband, Bruce, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister-in-law, Mae Hartung of Ferndale, Washington; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elroy Titus; two brothers and other relatives.

Interment in the Welcome City Cemetery in Welcome, Minnesota.
