Kraft family - Hammerfest

Please excuse this in English. I do not speak Norwegian.

My Great Grandfather, Jonathon Jones Kraft, born in about 1839, a farmer, migrated to Australia in or about 1837, was the son of Edward Kraft, clergyman and Ellen Ellis Stuart.

His town of birth is recorded as being Hammerfest. Edward Kraft is also registered as a resident of Hammerfest.

I would appreciate making contact with anyone who is familiar with the Kraft family name in Hammerfest.

Well, maybe he was born in Hammerfest,.. baptism is registered quite a long long time after his birth Home-baptism.

Here is the parents wedding in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder. (as far from Hammerfest You can get in this country). I think the fathers proffession is adjunct (teacher). I have seen on another familytree that they also lived in Oppland after Møre & Romsdal.
