Don't know enough Norwegian to figure out how to reply to your post on WebDebatt. I had a hard time finding Bendi being baptised on 5 Aug 1788 and even looked on a calendar and found that 5 aug 1788 was not a Sunday but it was in 1787 - no luck. So finally decided to look further and found on p. 208 her baptism on 5 Oct 1788 at Schatvold ?? Lund - not sure what ?? Lund means? Father is Peder Hilgrd? Will continue to look.
So my take on your information is that the family must have left Skatval after 1793 and before 1795.
What would be your real sources? I assume it would be the parish records?
