Guri Johansdatter of Beitstad born before 1722

Guri Johansdatter of Beitstad was apparently born before the Beitstad parish records began in 1722. She was confirmed at Beitstad in 1740 and her place of residence is listed as Sannen: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 660156.jpg
In 1751 she married her first husband, Jacob Corneliussen: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 650607.jpg Their residences are unlisted. They had two daughters together, Marit and Berit. Jacob Corneliussen died at Redsem in 1751 and has a probate record. In 1755 she married my ancestor, Peder Staalesen, her residence is unlisted: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 660005.jpg What I would like to know is, who were the parents of Guri Johansdatter and, if she wasn't from Sannen, where was she from?

I found this is "Beitstadboka" - the book of Beitstad, book nr.3, page 181:

From 1725 there is a name Johan Sannan found in the churchbook. It may seem in many ways that he was from Sandaunet. These children are found baptized:
1. Roland, born 1725
2. Beret, born 1731
3. Kari, born 1734 - died 1749
4. Anna, born 1746 - died 1748
5. Nils, born 1748
6. Jon, born 1750

After that the family is vanished. The family is not to be found in the census of 1754, neither in Sandaunet, Sannan or any other place in Beitstad.

Guri isn't mentioned, but it is worth checking out.

He is recorded as "Jon Sanan" and not "Johan Sanan" at the time of his death. Aren't Jon and Johan considered to be two very different and distinct names in Norwegian? Would someone whose name Johan be listed as Jon? That's one of the reasons I did not consider this person to be my ancestor.

Thank you for information on Johan's family from Sannan in the Beitstadboka. This is not just one family. Nils, born at Sannan in 1748, and Jon, born in 1750, were sons of the same father. Apparently the Johan who lived in Sannan before was a different Johan and either moved to a different farm or his death is unrecorded. The Johan, who was the father of Nils and Jon, is listed in the extra tax of 1762. He lives at Stierne with his wife and two sons and because Jon's birth date is listed, I was able to determine that this was the same family:

but not my ancestors. So for me, the search goes on for the parents of Guri Johansdatter.
