Iver Bjornsen/Christie Larsdatter - Gulbrandsrud, Næs

Hi!

I am trying to find information on the marriage of Iver Bjornsen, born about 1775, and Christie Larsdatter, born about 1784. Iver died on August 27, 1866 in Gudbrandsrud, Næs, Hallingdal and Christi died on January 26, 1864 in Gulbrandsrud, Næs, Hallingdal.

They married about 1808 and had the following children:

1) Kari - b. 6 feb 1808 Aal, Hallingdal
2) Ragnild - b. april 1809 Aal, Hallingdal
3) Margit - b. 15 Sept 1811 in Eidebeie, Næs, Hallingdal
4) Margit b. 9 April 1822 in Eidebeie, Næs, Hallingdal
5) Christi - b. 5 Dec 1824 in Næs, Hallingdal
6) Halvor - b. 1 March 1826 in Næs, Hallingdal
7) Nils - b. 10 Dec 1827 in Næs, Hallingdal
Margit - b. 6 Nov 1831 in Gulbrandsrud, Næs, Hallingdal

I would appreciate any information on Iver and Christi's marriage and births.

When Iver Bjornsen died in 1866 he was 91 years old. The same in the 1865-census.
In 1801 we find him at the farm Ejdal. He was 26, but his parents only 38 and 37. Their ages must be wrong in the 1801-census.

Parish book number 4 from Nes, page 169 (Roll HF 415):
Christened Oct.15 - 1775 in Næss: Iver.
Father: Biørn Iversen Eidal. Mother: Ragnil Halvorsd.
Witnesses: Guri Gulbrandsd. Eidal, Jøran Hansd ibid, Ole Tollefsen (Rensloe?), Ola Andersen Eidal, Peder Olsen ibid.

Book 4, page 318 (Roll HF 415): Married All Saints Day 1767 in Næs:
Biørn Iversen Langeslæt and Ragnil Halvorsdatter.

Biørn Iversen Langeslæt and Ragnil Halvorsdatter had their oldest child Ole christened May 3. 1767 in Næs. They then lived in Langeslæt. (Book 4, page 43, Roll HF 414). Looks like Ole also lived at Eidal in 1801, 33 years old. I made a picture from page 169, where we find Iver christened.
