i need some help to find the birth of one of my ancestors his name is jens olsen i think he was born in eide hommedal aust agder here he is in the 1801 census

he got married to ane rasmusdatter 25 Jan 1796 in Eide HOMMEDAL Aust-Agder Norway
he died 22 Feb 1847 in Eide HOMMEDAL Aust-Agder Norway nad i think he was born 1767
the only farm names i have linked to him are Hauge and jortved i think thats what it says in the marriage entry

Widow Tarjer Olsdatter and son Jens Olsen, daughter Johanne Olsdatter 33 years unmarried, daughter Inger Olsdatter married to Christen Hansen Holte in Landvig, daughter Marthe Gurine Olsdatter 2 years old,
If Ole was 49 when he died, and his oldest daughter 33, he became father at the age of 16...I`m not sure about that.. Might be wrong ages on somebody here

This widow can`t possibly be mother of all the children if her age in 1801 is correct, - she is 40 in 1801 and too young to be mother of the oldest children of Ole Jensen. She is married for 3. time here, husband Knud Carlsen: http://www.digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/we ... =1748#ovre

His former wife and mother of the oldest children Marthe Tellefsdatter Tjore. probate 1790, starting on right page: http://arkivverket.no/URN:sk_read/24275/652/
Children Jens Olsen 20 1/2 years old, Johanne Olsdatter 28 unmarried, working in Christiansand, Inger Olsdatter 24 years old, unmarried.

i have found a marriage of a ole jensen to a marthe olsdatter jortved am wondering if this is a first marriage for him or is it another ole jensen first page 53 .2 but with his age at his death of 49 he was born about 1746 and this one is in 1756 so his age would be 10 cant be same person

2nd page number 26 is that ole ronnen the ole jensen i am looking for, hard to decipher this as the age as linda says in previous post is not right somewhere.

HERE I HAVE FOUND OLE JENSEN ROONEN I THINK MARRYING MARTHE TELLEFSDATTER IN LANDVIK IN 1761 SO IF HIS AGE AT DEATH IN 1795 WAS 49 BORN IN SAY 1746 HE WAS 15 WHEN HE MARRIED SO BECOMING FATHER A FATHER AGE 16

IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG HERE AS IT IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND THAT HE COULD HAVE BEEN MARRIED AT 15 WOULD THEY HAVE ALLOWED THAT?

You have found the right people there , but I don`t know if Ole`s age by death, 49, is correct. There are a lot of mistakes about ages in the churchrecords in that area.
But it is not impossible that he could have married early,- it`s just very rare that boys did so. I have seen several cases in the churchrecords of 15-16 years old girls getting married.

There is one Ole Jensen baptism 30.aug. 1739, father Jens Ydre Østerhuus in Landvik...I don`t know if he is the right Ole, but his age is better , right page (Dom. 14 p. trin.): http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... x_side=-15

so how can i proceed to find out which ole jensen is which and was he 15 when he got married i have no clue unless some one has a bygdebok from this area of the time it seems ole and jens was a popular name from this area
if anyone can help it would be muchly appreciated
