Any Incredimail users?

Legg inn av Helen Castle » 6. februar 2007 kl. 22.54

Anyone out there using Incredimail?

I want to know if you can set it to not download attachments over a certain
size.

You cant in OExpress but you can in Outlook

I have a friend on dialup who would love to be able to do this.

I think I consider doing that risky.

Normally mail is removed from server when downloaded.
If a piece of mail is not downloaded because of a large attachment then
hopefully the mail remains on server because part was left BUT user has
to realise that and go on line and action the file etc etc.
I think the mail would stay but possibly a reader might detach.

Otherwise it stays there until user works out what is happening and gets
downloaded every Receive and this will sure muck up dial up

Sometimes when I had dial up I found large attachments (a family video)
would cause Time Out and then I went on line and downloaded from web.

I'd say have another mail id like googlemail and ask friends to send
attachments there

Yup that's what I am advising him to do- however I did find that you can
write a rule not to download from the server.

thanks Helen
