Good morning group,
I have a great grandfather who is missing in the 1860, 1870 and 1900
census. I would appreciate any and all help. Ggrandfather George married
Mary Ann Elizabeth Thomas (1851-1889) on 13 Feb 1866 in Terre Haute,
Vigo, Indiana. They had 3 sons, Otis Redman,(1869 - ?) Guy Angus
(1874-1900) Thomas Vance (1881- ?)and 2 daughters, Olive (1876-?) and my
grandmother, Grace Agnes (1884-1928.)
In 1850 he was living with father in Spring, Pennsylvania. In 1880, with
wife and children in Kansas City, Kansas. I would love to find him the
above census years.
Thanks for looking.
Carolyn

Carolyn...sorry, what are the chances there are two George W. Wyeth's,
one in Spring, PA. and the other in Spring Garden, PA. Thought you left
out the full name of the location.

Re: George Washington Wyeth 1835-1916
Bob, I have found out in this genealogy world, you have to be mighty
careful and take nothing for granted. When I first started 6 years ago,
I did and I had to delete a lot of input because I had wrong ancestors
entered. It is very interesting tho. Just today, I found out George W
was buried in the Los Angeles National Cemetery. That was a great find.
Thanks again for looking.

Re: George Washington Wyeth 1835-1916
Hmm.... there's some unique names there. You'd think they'd be a bit easier
to find. Here's a start:
1870 United States Federal Census
Name: George Wafath
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1835
Age in 1870: 35
Birthplace: Pennsylvania
Source Citation: Year: 1870; Census Place: Terre Haute Ward 5, Vigo,
Indiana;
Roll: M593_366; Page: 568; Image: 851

Re: George Washington Wyeth 1835-1916
Tara....You are good! Thank you sooooo much. OK...where is he in 1860?
Apparently they have misspelled his name again. I found him in four
census without any problems. If you happen to find him in 1860, please
give me a shout.
Thanks again for your efforts.
