Hatteberg Family Kvinnherad

I am looking for information on the parents of Lars and Johanna Hatteberg. Their name, age, occupation..any information would be helpful. Lars and Johanna came to the states around 1860. Johanna was born around 1820. The family that came to the states was Lars and Johanna and their children Thor, John and Marie. Thor was born in 1841 or 1842. They went to the state church in Kvinnherad. Thor was baptised by Rev. Bessessan. I am not sure on the spelling of the Rev. Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Lars Helgesen Mehl chr.25.11.1816 Kvinnherad was son of Helge Larsen Mehl (1788- married in 1816 to Maria Heinesdaughter Skaala.
His wife was Johanna Johannesdaughter Eik born 1820 in Kvinnherad. She was the daughter of Johannes Monsen(1793-1868) married 1816 with Marta Torresdaughter Eik (1793-1877)

Johanna married 1st 1838 Anders Thorsen Hatteberg (1800-31.10.1845) then he drowned in The Hatteberg River, Kvinnherad

Johanna married 2nd, about 1846 Lars Helgesen Mehl (1816-?). They emigrated to US 1862 with their only daughter Marie born 1847, christened october 10. 1847. The children, mentioned Thor and John was from her 1st marriage with Anders.

He married 1st 8.6.1828 Anna Thorsdaughter (1804-22.8.1837)
He married 2nd 12.10.1838 Johanna Johannesdaughter Eik (1820-) She married 2nd 1846 Lars Helgesen Mehl (chr.25.11.1816 Kvinnherad - they emigrated 1862 with their only child Mari, born 1847 christened 10.10.1847)

Anders' children 1st marriage with Anna: 1)Tor 1828-28, 2) Tor 1829-32, 3) Jens 1832- married 1864 Herborg Ludvigsdaughter Hatteberg. They emigrated USA 1875. 4) Tore 1835- married 1862 Brita Jensdaughter Mehl. They emigrated USA 1870.

Anders' children 2nd marriage with Johanna: 1) Johannes 1839 - emigrated USA 1860
2) Tor 1842 - emigrated USA 1862.

Lars Helgesen Mehl Hatteberg's parents: Helge Larsen Mehl (1788-20.3.1860) marr.:08.02.1816 Mari Heinesdaughter Skaale (chr.30.11.1776 - died 11.9.1865)

Johanna Johannesdaughter Eik's parents: Johannes Monsen Eik (1783-18.9.1868)
marr.16.06.1816 Marta Torresdaughter Eik (1793-1877). Johannes and Marta were farmers at Eik farm, Kvinnherad 1814-1856 and had 4 children: 1) Marta 1817-1904. 2) Johanne 1820- . 3) Mons 1823-62. 4) Brita 1826-80.

I realize this post was from some time ago but I do appreciate your help. I have a question about your response.

If Johanna's first husband was a Hatteberg and her second husband was a Mehl, how come Lars has a last name of Hatteberg when his last name was Mehl?

There is probably a reason for this so excuse my lack of knowledge on this, I am just trying to piece everything together.

They probably lived on the farm Hatteberg,- that would explain why the farm`s name is behind the name Mehl
